About the MN ACNM
We are the Minnesota state affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the professional association that represents Advanced Practice Midwives across the country. Our members are dedicated to providing high quality nurse-midwifery care to Minnesotans with a special emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, gynecologic and reproductive health.
We provide support, education and advocacy focused on increasing optimal outcomes and access to care for Minnesota’s women, newborns, and others seeking midwifery care during all stages of life.
We believe all individuals and families in MN should have access to safe, trauma-informed, anti-racist, and evidence-based reproductive healthcare that is based in mutual respect, individual needs, and shared-decision making.
